SQR -- Structured Query Report Writer is a batch/interactive reportwriting and procedural language tool for SQL-based databases. SQRcombines SQL query definition with print control, formatting, andprocedural logic in a single structured paragraph. Features includecomplete SQL support (select, insert, update, delete, create, drop),interactive query modification, multidimensioned arrays, and in-memorytable lookup. SQR can also read and write external files, supporting dataload/unload and other requirements.Almost any style report can be created, including tabular, form letters,(across) mailing labels, invoices, checks, and laser printing withspecial effects. Files suitable for post- processing, magnetic tape, andothers can be written. As a procedural language, SQR can be used formany applications, including batch update, transaction processing, andonline inquiry/update.
